Khoja Zayniddin Mosque, one of the masterpieces of ancient Bukhara, is located in the old neighborhood. The mosque was built by master Mir Dustumbi on the oldest pond in Bukhara, in honor of Imam al-Bukhari, on the initiative of His Holiness Zainiddin. Khoja Zainiddin worked in Bukhara in the years 1465-1480 in the position of Qazi Kalon. The mosque was renovated during the reign of Abdulaziz ibn Ubaidullah Khan. Modarikhan madrasah was built in 1566-1567.
